Yesterday was not only my lovely girlfriend Sam’s birthday, but also our pal John Templeton…a real Virginian gentleman…turning the dirty 30. It was arranged for a group of us to meet at Lou’ s Food Bar, a little restaurant on 38th street in North Denver…aww damn birthday partay!

There were 9 of us total, a warm group of friends who for some, double as extremely talented music folk in their own right…a fun fact, of little importance really. The cocktails were half off which is always nice because, I do like to knock a few back. The food was outstanding. Everything from snails (f0r a first), to pheasant wrapped in a crusty crepe like crust, to fried chicken with bacon brussel sprouts and whipped mashers, to our friend Bri’s home made Ninja bread cookies…sh** was good. Go check Lou’s, you might see us there.
