Ryan Crosson & Lee Curtiss in Denver – Roots/AAMP 1.28.12

January 27, 2012 in News

Interested to see how these two have evolved after Team Visionquest exploded this past year. It’s too bad Shaun Reeves and Seth Troxler, the other half of Visionquest, could not have made the bill, but hey, it will be nice to see some reflection of the popular outfit in person.

Caught both Curtiss and Crosson on separate occasions in Detroit a few years back, when they were enjoying the mid 2000′s  M_nus glory days.  Both of them have clearly left those bland, minimal roots behind and have jumped ship to what  seems to be the sound currently filling clubs across the world. Crosson has released some decent music through his collaborations with Guti and Cesar Merveille, which is on the more colorful, organic tip. They both are playing the late shift in a fun venue with a big sound system and most likely a large,  up-for-it crowd. Here’s hoping they bring the goods from their end, check back to get our take on whether they did or not.
